Here's your chance to view the beautiful Aurora Borealis in our region, in a unique and authentic way. Let us transport you away from the light pollution of the city to our quite clear location south of town. Here you will get to experience the cool brisk northern air, the crunch of snow beneath your snowshoes as we cross to our final location to relax under the stars, warm up by the crackle of a wood stove, enjoy some tea and pan-fried bannock. Even if the Aurora doesn't reveal itself to us on this excursion we promise to keep you entertained, and the views of the skies will be something to remember for years to come. Experience Breakdown: - Meet at Predetermined location - Caffeine Top up for the night - Snowshoe outfitting - Waiver signed - Warm gear outfitting/rentals - Depart for Outpost - Arrive at Outpost snowshoe to location - 10pm – 2am On location in Outfitter’s tent watch northern lights, look at the stars, listen to the lake crackle, enjoy pan fried bannock, enjoy some tea or coffee - 2am Head back to the van, drive back to town and depart from location. There is no warm gear available with this package. Your booking is only a reservation. The tour will not run until at least 6 participants have registered.
